Breathtaking Road Trip Through Red Rock Canyon

The Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive is a 13-mile (21-kilometer) circle that only goes in one direction. The entire travel time is just around half an hour if you don’t stop, but you should still give yourself plenty of time to see the park’s many attractions.

Take the scenic drive through Red Rock Canyon if you just do one thing there. This track may only cover a little portion of the park, but it leads to some of the best vantage points and trailheads in the whole park.

The park’s gorgeous circle road, which also happens to be its namesake, is the only part of the park that requires payment. During the months of October and May (peak season), visitors must make timed entrance reservations.

A wealth of information on the history, geology, flora, and fauna of the Mojave Desert may be found in the many indoor and outdoor exhibits found at this site.  Calico Basin And Red Spring

There are just a few km between the parking lot for Scenic Drive and the locations of Red Spring and Calico Basin. You should not miss the chance to see these locations.

Visitors to this part of Red Rocks do not have to pay the entrance fee since it is located outside the charging area. If you can’t do anything else, at least drive in and enjoy the beautiful view.
